Design, for us, is a field that lay on the border of art. We don’t believe that all of the products should be designed in purpose to make our life easier or more comfortable. We want our design to surround its users with stories and emotions, hope and fantasies, questions and ferry tales. We believe that good design must reveal cultural issues and ask questions about our way of living.

This product won the first prize among 4800 participants in the Macef and Designboom International Design competition

When was the last time you emphatically broke something? The ceramic salt & pepper shaker offers you the opportunity to do it! The product comes in one piece and by breaking it, you make it useful. Breaking is an experience of impulsive outburst but this time is an act that builds rather than destroys. In a world of products whose shape is completely dictated by the designer, we enable the user to complete the design himself. The event of the breaking leaves its mark on the shaker and gives it its final, unique, one of a kind appearance.

Ceramic vessels, burned in a gas kiln in special Japanese burn called Raku. Each piece is unique, surprising and unpredictable. Useful for drying cutlery and toothbrushes or just storing them.

The Ecooler system is constructed of basic modular units that interconnect via a designated connector.  The module is a type of narrow, three-dimensional tile made of hollow, twisting ceramic piping that can hold water.  When connecting the modules to each other, a screen is created.  The connection enables the passage of water between modules and in this way, one can fill the entire screen with water in a closed system.

The Ecooler’s point of departure is the aspiration to create an equality and mutual influence between developing countries and first-world countries.  The system takes its inspiration from the ancient cooling methods and architectural elements found to this day in developing countries, and is perfectly suited to both developing and first-world countries.  The improvement of quality of life takes place immediately by providing a more pleasant and healthier cooling alternative; its long term improvement lies in the change in relationship between man and his surroundings and the creating of a harmonious, considerate and more responsible bond.  The Ecooler user’s approach towards those around him is one of modesty and sensitivity.  We feel sure that in this case, the improvement in man’s quality of life will also instigate an improvement in the quality of our environment.

Eight candlesticks hang from the menorah. On each day of Hanukkah the user breaks one candlestick and plants it in the hole above it. Only now is it possible to light a candle in it. On the eighth day, all of the candlesticks have been picked and planted. The menorah bears various symbols taken from nature and Judaism. Picking and planting symbolize the circle of life. The breaking and construction are in memory of the destruction and rebuilding of the Temple. During the eight days the menorah is built up and created step by step.
